If you are referring to Dr. Mau in Dallas at the UTSW, he will probably give you a shot the day he sees you if you are diagnosed. I have been going to him for 2 years and he is wonderful. He gave me a shot my first visit and it worked as has every shot since then. He is very knowledgable and takes him time to explain everything to you. Hope all goes well. Take care and keep us posted.
