Depression is a common side effect of SD. It's even more difficult when you're young and trying to start a career. I worked in Sales for almost 20 years with SD/AD. It's just been in the last few years that it's become really difficult. I explain to people I have a vocal condition and to bear with me. Most are nice, however there are always going to be the few that are missing a sensitive/kind bone. Don't give up. You have a lot to look forward to in the future. |
