That's rough when you have a speaking job. Your employer should provide accommodations for you or you can ask for a job within the company that does not require much voice.If you are looking for other employment, consider your other skills. Making a list is a good thing and then think of everything that you could do.
I know of SDers who are archivists, court reporter, truck driver, medical supervisor of claims, technical writer, author, quality controller, engineering, draftsman, criminal profiler, researcher, library work, book editing, paralegal, and so on.
