I think this is very interesting. I also read on the dystonia website that this surgery has been approved for Parkinson's since 1998. I have to wonder why this surgery isn't an option for SD? I did not respond to Botox and have AB, so Dr. Berke's surgery is not an option for me. I would be willing to undergo DBS to get my voice back. |
