Why is botox not an option for you?
Dr. Gerald Berke at UCLA does surgery for ADSD only, but doesn't touch the vocal cords. It's nerve surgery the controls the vocal cords, but it isn't something that you should do until you've weighed your options. I had it done and I'm happy, but everyone is different.
