my name is dee and i was diagnosed in 03 with sd i live in hollister ca. and there are no sd support groups near this county. so i guess this will be my support group. i was watching abc world news with diane sawyer and their was a segment about a woman who went to the cleveland clinic and they operated her vocal cords and she was able to speak normal again rather than her whisper. after 30 yrs. no specifics or details were given but i'm wondering if i should call the cleveland clinic to see if they could help me...botox is not a option for me....tried and never helped me...has anyone heard about any docs at this clinic and i dont know exacatly how to go about getting on the ball with this...any suggestions....thanks ms. dee
