I am scheduled to see Dr. Berke at UCLA on June 7th to be evaluated for the SLAD surgery for the following day. I'm leaning towards the unilateral rather than bilateral. I have spoken with about a dozen folks who have had the surgery, some 10 years ago, and they sounded pretty good over the phone, so, I'm feeling more at ease with my decision. And, it appears that my insurance will pay all the medical costs. |
