Hi, I've had 4 treatments now. I have never had choking problems in the chair. I have minor swallowing problems for about 40-50 days post injection. For me it starts 2-3 days after the injection. I use a coffee straw (very tiny holes) to drink. At about 30+ days I can move up to a medium straw and go strawless soon after. I recommend carrying water with you all the time and drink small amts often. A couple of times I had trouble eating fresh fruit(strawberries) bc of the juice. I can't swallow pills well during this period;I got chewable vitamins. I really don't mind the swallowing problems. I also get many a minor sore throat. For me the breathiness and weak volume (lasts 30+ days)are the most challanging side effects. I got a voice amplifier to get through that period. No matter, the Botox works for me and the side effects, all of them, have a work around. Welcome to the group.
