Hi Teacher, I had my first botox treatment in early Jan. The doctor warned me that choking on drinking is a common side affect, particularly at higher doses, so she gave me the option of a lower dose. I took the lower dose (1.5 units each side for adductor) but still experience choking when drinking 2 months after botox. Sipping helps. I will have to try the advice you got for thicker liquids like smoothies. Good luck! |
