Ditto. The same thing happend to me in 2001 when I was diagnosed with SD. I was determined to continue teaching and did so until summer break. My voice kept getting worse making me extremely nervous. Finally, after 24 years I came to grips with the situation and had to retire. There was no way I could continue as a teacher. Anyone that is trying to teach with SD deserves a gold metal.
