I've had the total opposite experience. I have to take big gulps, because the small ones make me cough every time I drink something. However...if I take a big gulp and that goes down the wrong pipe, that's the worst. That only happens to me about twice during the first week after the injection. You'll never know if it will be a side effect that you have to deal with until you get the botox. It may not happen to you at all.
If it does, I suggest making frozen smoothies. The thicker liquids go down much much better.
