I am not from a small town, but I feel lucky too. I had the disorder for ages before I found out what I have. This disorder is rare. It is hard to diagnose, because doctors don't know about it. It is hard to treat because how can a doctor treat something they know little about. So be your own advocate. Do whatever you can do to get diagnosis and treatment suitable for yourself. Study. Read all the relevant posts on this board to begin with. Get real and get good help. Good luck!
