I'm happy for you that you finally got your answer! I had the exact same experience where over the course of 9 years several doctors told me it was psychological and one (an ENT no less!) told me it was from low self-esteem, also. Didn't it just make you want to scream??? Ironic how such educated professionals can be so presumptuous, not to mention how they can overlook the possibility that the voice disorder CAUSES the low self-esteem. |
