I need some help. I have a friend who has a problem speaking at all. She has tried Botox with no help and has been told that she is "Botox sensitive". Her doctors are discussing the fact that she has "false vocal chords". They are talking about removing those false vocal chords and then treating the "true vocal chords" with Botox. I have not run into this problem before. She is also has an appointment to talk about SLAD-R surgery. Her condition may have come on due to surgery and a paralyzed vocal chord. We are asking for information from anyone who has knowledge about "false vocal chords" or where that information might be obtained.Thanks for your help. John ABSD Minnesota
