Hi
I've finally managed to catch up with the postings on BB and having read your own posting I wanted to share my own experience of receiving Botox. I was diagnosed with ADSD in 2004 (at age 43) and having struggled to come to terms with it, I finally got fed up with the constant daily struggle especially as my job means that I need to make many telephone calls. Like yourself, I was scared of the thought of the Botox procedure and at what might actually happen however I am pleased to say that, although this is still early days, I had the procedure last Friday. I am really glad I went through with it as the procedure was really Ok and wasn't half as bad as I had feared. My voice has weakend and is breathy but I am not experiencing that effort of speaking which is such a release and I can talk quite freely and just hope that it continues to get a better and stronger sound. I hope my posting helps you in some way as I really wish I hadn't put myself through the daily stuggle as I was fearful for no reason.Sandra
