I had the same experience: my SD had sort of quietened and stabilized until pregnancy, during which my SD worsened. My son is now two years old and I'm still needing reguaker Botox injections, somehow, I was hoping it would go back to the 'simmering' pre-pregnancy status, but no.
Personally, I'm convinced there's a connection between hormonal changes and SD, as the basal ganglia is situatued right by the main hormonal-secretion organ (I don't know the name of it in English, sorry!). It's a shame there's not enough finance to research this.
