Yes I am definitely relieved to see fellow younger SD patients on the board ! I go to Dr. Berke at UCLA. He is actually the one that made the diagnosis and I've been getting Botox injections ever since. Although, it did take me a minute to warm up to the idea of having needles stuck in my throat ! I'm too chicken to do the surgery and I know Dr. Berke's the best but I'm really scared. I've never had any type of surgery before. I watched the DVD about the surgery and my Dad wants me to have it done. I don't know. Maybe when/if I get more comfortable with the idea of "surgery" I'll do it. I'm still putting off getting my wisdom teeth out so I can't imagine going through this too ! =) If there isn't a support group for our age (under 40) in Southern Cali maybe we should start one ! I really need the support right about now. I've been having a tough time with this SD stuff as of late. Not sure where it's coming from but it's frustrating to say the least !Anissa
