Hi,It's so great to see there are other "younger" SD people! I'm 29! The only ones I met at the conference were 60+ also!
My SD didn't kick in until I began teaching. Took a year to get a diagnosis. I tried Speech Therapy, Muscle Relaxation Therapy, Massage Therapy, etc ... and nothing worked. I had to go to a few doctors until I found one that was perfect! If you're in So. Cal (I am too) Dr. Dinesh Chhetri at UCLA is amazing!! He does botox/exams and is acutally pioneering a surgery to "fix" SD ... but I'm too chicken to do it! :) I really like him! If you do botox, he is the best! It's so quick and almost painless!
