Hi,I found out I had SD at 22 years old. I was just beginning my first year as a teacher and had to start botox injections every 3 months (quickly got over my fear of needles!). I was teaching K-1 Special Education ... and it's IMPOSSIBLE to teach a child to read when you can't pronounce words!! :o( After 5 years of teaching, I've decided to take a break. Botox works so well, but I'm not thrilled with injecting things into my body! It freaks me out and causes WAY too much anxiety!!
ANYWAYS ... I attended a conference in Oregon 5/6 years ago and I was the youngest person BY FAR!! It scared me!! Is there anyone else out there who's SD kicked in at an early age?? I HOPE SO!!!
